The Rapid Angels Motorcycle Club (RAMC) was organized in 1959 and
chartered by the American Motorcycle Association (AMA) in October
1959. The club has been sponsoring motorcycle events since July
1960: namely hill climbs, scrambles, motocrosses, and enduros.
The Rapid Angels have held fund-raising events such as ALSAC drive on
radio, benefit dances for injured cyclists, has helped with the
4-Wheelin with Feelin for the March of Dimes, has contributed toward a
Jaws of Life, contributed toward a mini bus for Edgewater Haven
Nursing Home, helped the YMCA, NYPUM program and sponsored a Little
League baseball team. The club was instrumental in securing MRP
funds for Dryracuse Recreational Area.
RAMC meets
every first Wednesday of the month at Jammers Bar & Grill. It
is made up of road toads, moto heads, and tree junkies.
If you
would like to become a member of the Rapid Angels Motorcycle Club your
are more than welcome to introduce yourself. We hold meetings
regularly throughout the year at Jammers. Jammers is located on Hwy.54
East of Wis. Rapids.
